WHO & WHY WE ARE

Bhiwadi is an industrial township in Rajasthan, typically crushed between the borders of Rajasthan and Haryana. It faces multiple visible urban issues that are usually unaddressed. The Bhiwadi Lab is a participatory model for the people of Bhiwadi that conducts monthly surveys identifying the issues and writes pieces, taking the first step towards solving them.

 

Brought together by an architect, it strives to promote public participation in effective city building. The lab is also a medium to build a dataset for often unknown Bhiwadi in this online world. This initiative is also a repository for future city planners who are enthusiastic about weaving people's perspectives into their decisions of planning an industrial city like Bhiwadi!
